Beautiful birds

Birds are so much fun to draw and paint, as they have beautiful shapes and textures, along with tonnes of personality! This 2.5 hour workshop will show you how to begin with simple shapes to capture birds and other animals, building on skills of shape, line and proportion. You will also learn how to gradually build up and blend layers of colouring pencil, and you will have the option to add a touch of fine-liner pen to your bird for a more illustrative look. 

I will provide lots of visuals to work from but feel free to bring a photo of a favourite bird if you'd like to make the session more personal ;)

All materials, tea and snacks are included. 

Mediums: Colouring pencils and fine liner on cartridge paper
